Various Commercial case studies and scenarios will be used to define the role of the parties in a lease, use of the premises, assignment/sublease, tenant default, landlord remedies, and much more. This class will help bridge legal theory with practical, real-world application.

As a Lewis Rice Management Committee member and Real Estate Practice Group leader, Apollo Carey brings nearly two decades of legal experience and a background as a commercial appraiser to his practice. He advises clients on complex real estate transactions, including leasing, corporate strategy, and tax implications (LLM), leveraging his litigation experience to deliver strategic, results-driven instruction in the classroom.
